Partner & Chief Executive Officer

Ashley Shaw has been a leader in the insurance and benefits industry since 2009. As Chief Executive Officer of Ability Benefits Group, she is focused on expanding the agency’s impact by building strong, values-driven relationships with employers, brokers, and carriers.

With a career grounded in service and leadership, Ashley has successfully led high-performing, multi-million-dollar sales teams and helped countless individuals unlock their full potential. Her leadership philosophy centers on integrity, growth, and collaboration — all supported by a strong faith and a commitment to intentional daily habits.

Ashley is also the published author of Create Your Ideal Future, a book that empowers readers to build a life of purpose, joy, and peace through small, consistent steps. Outside of work, she is a devoted wife to Terald and proud mother of two active boys, Harrison and Bryson. In her free time, you’ll often find her powering through a Pilates class or cheering enthusiastically from the sidelines at her sons’ sporting events.

Mary Remson-Dorsey

Partner & Chief Operating Officer

Mary serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Ability Benefits Group, leveraging over 19 1/2 years of experience in leadership, insurance, human resources and employee benefits. She is dedicated to optimizing operations, empowering teams, and delivering client-focused solutions. With strategic insight and a people-first approach, Mary significantly contributes to the company's growth and the cultivation of a strong, value-driven culture.

Outside of her professional life, Mary is a committed wife, proud mother, and devoted grandmother. Family is paramount to Mary and constitutes her primary motivation. Guided by strong faith, she remains committed to both her family and her career.

Mary firmly believes in the power of positive thinking and consistently seeks to find and focus on the positive aspects of any situation.

Nolan King

Partner & Chief Strategy Officer

Nolan King serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Ability Benefits Group, bringing a wealth of experience in employee benefits and leadership since 2017. In his role, Nolan works closely with advisors, companies, and brokers to deliver long-term value, while cultivating meaningful and lasting relationships that help drive success for all stakeholders. Raised in a small town in Indiana, Nolan leads with the integrity and dedication that were instilled in him during his upbringing.

A passionate and loyal Indiana sports fan, Nolan’s background as a former collegiate athlete has shaped his approach to business—instilling a deep sense of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that he applies in every aspect of his work.

Outside of his professional life, Nolan is a devoted husband to his wife, Kaci, and a proud father to their son, Cooper. He enjoys starting his mornings at the gym, spending quality time with friends and family, and unwinding at the beach whenever he can.

Glenn Rose

Partner & Chief Growth Officer

A lifelong entrepreneur and business owner, Glenn Rose brings 40 years of experience building relationships to the role of Chief Growth Officer at Ability Benefits Group. Since entering the insurance industry over a decade ago, he has learned to focus his deep passion for helping people through empowerment and education.

Throughout his career, Glenn has led both teams large and small with a transparent, collaboration-centered approach. Whether working with clients, brokers, or colleagues, he pours his energy into building authentic relationships and helping his community thrive. A simple, people-first mindset guides everything he does.

When he’s not working, Glenn’s time is filled with his love for music, particularly the Grateful Dead, as well as sunrise walks on the beach, fishing, and traveling to see his family and beyond.

At home, Glenn’s world is anchored by his “way better half,” Michele — the color to his black-and-white life. Together, they are proud parents to four incredible kids spread across the globe: Jenna in Clearwater, Florida; Eric in The Hague, Netherlands; Alex in Deltona, Florida; and Brea in Phoenix, Arizona.
